Operations will be lead by Stephen Jones, who has previously enjoyed success with multiple established businesses within the renewable energy sector. Stephen is a business builder with over 25 years’ experience in multinational corporates, including UK utilities and start-ups. He is also a qualified engineer with substantial knowledge and global connections across the renewables industry.
Having developed both large and small-scale renewable projects, from funding through to commissioning and operations, Stephen has the knowledge and network to deliver results and is taking a 25% shareholding.
The UK Government has subscribed to the UN sustainable development goals and aims to generate at least 15% of its energy via renewable sources by 2020. To help achieve this, all government buildings will work towards utilising green energy sources, some of which will be in-house. To aid in this matter, EEM can provide bespoke storage and advise on complete building solutions, from the initial construction stage onwards. We can also advise on BREEAM* assessments.
*"BREEAM sets the standard for best practice in sustainable building design, construction, and operation and has become one of the most comprehensive and widely recognised measures of a building’s environmental performance. A BREEAM assessment uses recognised measures of performance, which are set against established benchmarks, to evaluate a building’s specification, design, construction, and use. The measures used represent a broad range of categories and criteria from energy to ecology."
